About The Foundation

Bothra Foundation is a charitable healthcare organisation established in July 1999 by Chandanmal Pukhraj Bothra Trust (CPBT). For over two decades, we have been providing free and subsidised medical services to economically disadvantaged communities in Bangalore.

Our Vision

Our vision is to focus on the joy of eyecare by training and treating people to prevent avoidable blindness and to support terminally ill patients and their loved ones to maximise their quality of life. We believe quality healthcare is a fundamental right that should be available to all.

Our Inspiration

The foundation was established by the Late Sri Chandanmalji Bothra and Late Smt. Anchibai Bothra to provide charitable medical services to underprivileged communities. Their vision and values continue to inspire our mission and activities.

Milestones

1999 – started a charitable clinic providing primary care.
2010 – Partnership with Globe Eye Foundation to focus on eye care.
2016 – Expanded to a dedicated medical centre building.
2019 – Added speciality services in diabetes, orthopaedics, oncology etc.
2021 – Associated with Vittala International Institute of Ophthalmology (www.viio.org), Bengaluru, in Eyecare.
2022 – 20 Year Celebrations: 50,000+ patients served over two decades.
2024: Celebrating 25 Years of healthcare services to the underprivileged.
